IF they secede then the USA would be forced to give them back the land the US bought. And that would include aurora... You'd be a texan too...

LOL, I don't think many non-Texans would know that. They wouldn't know how big Texas used to be!

Should Texas one day secede, one man may already be vying to be its president. Actor Chuck Norris said last month he may be interested in the post.

you know it is kind of funny, no sooner had I said Perry said nothing about sucession, he said something about sucession. Although in reality he said nothing about it. He just said it to get the nuts excited.

Let's say they did. Would that make me a United States citizen, or a Texas citizen? I was born in Texas, but I live in Miami. Would I need a passport to visit my family?
They might as well be their own country. They already think they are.

Assuming that poll is real and not just another made up statistic it is pretty amazing that 25% of the people in a state would want to leave the union. I would have guessed around 10%.
If I lived in California I might vote to form another country. I don't think any other state could improve their situation by leaving the union.

lol, we have the same perspective. And it should be noted perry would have sided with the 75% too.
But yeah, that is wild that 25% of the folks in texas would vote to secede.
