i have no experience with aggresive setups, but would like to start one. The following fish are what i want:
porcipine puffer
volitan lion
coral trout (or different kind of grouper...same shape)
pinkface wrasse
does anyone know the minimum tank size for these fish?

very cool..
i am just starting to plan out my first tank, and from my research those are pretty well the exact same fish i want. I was wondering what size of tank i would need as well. I also have another question to add. I have heard that it is not necessary to have rocks in an aggressive style tank. Is this true? If it is that is great since i am a college studen trying to start up.. Either way i plan on adding some LR when i get the finances for it.

Well... Violatans and Pork Puffers get VERY large. I would say at least a 125. I have a Pork Puffer with a lion and there is no trouble with him nipping on fins, but that has been an issue with some people. Use caution. I don't know about the Coral Trout though.. Sorry

How big does the pinkface wrasse get? The grouper will get BIG FAST and eat anything it fit in its mouth...
