I have been keeping reef tanks for years and have the same old school Deep Six that I started with and it read identical to 2 different refracts...If you are going to go the route of Hypo I reccomend one other wise....they were a waste of money in my case..
So, how cheap are you willing to get rid of one of those refracs then to somebody who is curious about them ? PM me if interested.

It reads identical to my refractometer.

I have broken at least 3 or 4 of those freaking things at work. They're fairly fragile, and once they're cracked, they're useless.
Let's make sure we differentiate between floaters and swing-arms.
I would put a properly cleaned floater in the same category of a refrac.
