im going away for a week and i have a sun coral that needs to be feed. i really dont have anybody to feed it. if i feed it up till i leave and it not being feed for a week will it surive.
going away what do i do

i also have a bta and a seabay will they be able to go a week without eating.

I have a very healthy sun coral and was gone for 3 days and noticed a little tissue recession in two different spots upon return. I fed him every day for three straight days (usually every other day) and it's starting to look better (that was a week ago). There is no way I would wait an entire week. I have a feeling you would return and most of the polyps would be intack but the tissue in between may be severely damaged. IMO I wouldn't try it. They (at least mine) seem to be very sensitive. GL

what if i where to get someone to feed it one day in the middle of the week i should be able to get someone.
ive gone away for 3 days before and the next coulpe of days it wasnt looking as open as it usaully does. thats why i was worried
