There are no cheap hotels in keys.i was there last april and everything was 175 and up per night.But the weather was great and u will love it.The reef was disappointing,they basicly take u to the dead one.Well i hope there is a better one,i didnt see it!!But you must check out the butterfly exsibit.And be sure to take everything u will need,because nothing cheap.Water camera where 20 dollars each.lighters 4 bucks,tan lotion.be sure to take a good camera and alot of water cameras if u plan on going to the reef.u must put some thought in to this or u will spend alot.Between me and my girlfriend we dropped 4 grand there in one week,but we dived everday,parsailed,jet skis,party supply and junk we bought.But it was really worth it we both had a ball.take as many tours as u can afford.they were the best money we spent.wish i was going with you..Thay have every kind of boat u can think of to take tours on,like old sail boat,pt 109 like jfk was on,catmaran.its awesome.But take more money then u where planning,if not u will be sorry..there is that much stuff u will want to do..
I have three days for free at one of the hotels out there.But will like to stay longer. Got airfare and car rental. Just need someplace for me and wife to sleep without costing us so much money.
