The source!!! The source!!!
trying to fight the battle against hair algae by buying more things to eat it is really not the answer.
Question: Do you have a refugium?
If the answer is no, then that's your next step - not turbosnails.

I have an temporary in tank refugium now but I do not have a external one and will not have one due to the location of the tank. So a refugium is out of the question. My tank bottom is also tempered glass so its undrillable.

Neowind I understand what you are going through. I've done everything too. I just got some spagetti macro this week and am still doing weekly water changes and scrubbing. So far the only way to keep it from coming back on the rocks is taking them out, one every few days, scrubbing it, then putting it in the sun. Unfortunetly the worst rocks have corals attached. Not much to do with them but hand pull. Mine started on two pieces of tonga rock. I put one in each of my tanks. Guess what happened. I have double the trouble.

I think I can see a window nearby. Is it getting some sunlight? I had to move my tank away from the window to finally win my battle1

I went out and purchased some really thick curtains that took care of the sunlight problem. Hard to wake up in the morning now

You could also consider getting rid of the yellow tang. He's not gonna touch it - and tangs are notoriously messy eaters
