Gold Stripe Maroon Clown vs Oc clown

I just came back from the LFS and they have a very nice looking gold stripe maroon clown that couldnt get close enough to the annen they had with it. I was wondering if there were any drawbacks from going with a maroon vs the normal false perc clown?
Also is my tank to new for an ann? I would like to get the fish and the ann it was loving. My lighting situation is a 48" coralife 2 65w 10k and 2 65w actinic and hopefully this fixture will soon be changed out for a 2x150 mh 2x actinic coralife fixture.
What do you guys think?

Very true. The tomatos and maroons are prolly the most territorial fish we keep in the hobby. You would be quite limited in what fish you could keep with her. What size tank and other livestock are you hoping to keep?

Clown(s depending)
Jawfish Pair.
Bi Color Blenny
Flame angel
Fairy Wrasse.
Thats sort of what I had in mind for stocking, im going to keep coral so all needs to be coral safe. Its a 55g. So the maroon would be a bad idea? A perc would be better?
Also know that I dont have any fish in the tank currently.

False percs are just a little more docile. I think you would be fine with a maroon actually with those fish. I would add it last though. The false percs you could add anywhere in there. I love them too so don't feel bad.
