Well. Woke up this morning and the goldflake was laying on the bottom of the tank.
I took him out and he had huge bacterial hemorages on both sides. My salfin is fine and the water readings are spot on. This had to be there prior to him shipping dont you think?

Well since it is a wholesaler I may be SOL, but I am trying. I would except it as my fault if I had never owned a fish, never owned an angel or didnt know what I was doing. But this guy died in 2 days?
We shall see what happens.

Dang it.....
Not sure, once the fish because deceased or near deceased and drops his slime coat, the infections can spread like wild fire. I'm also not sure bacteria infections are enough to kill a healthy fish in only 2 days. Though I haven't seen one with hermoraging like that. Really wierd.

This could possibly be an internal injury from capture that hemorrhaged. I had a similar looking death to a blueface and that was the online dealers Vet/Biologists guess; I knew him pretty well and assume he was probably right. But, he knew the rep of the original shipper and had seen it before. Sorry, beautiful fish.

I was gone for a week and you decided on a different fish, got it, and it died before I could even say nice fish!

I am getting a pair of crosshatches for the big tank. I will not put a male in my 180. They are super active and my 180 was WAAAAY too small.
