It's the Green Goniopora Goniopra stokesi that's the difficult coral. The requirements for this coral are still fairly unknown.

I have been feeding my green one mysis shrimp for the past several months and it has grown in my tank and is thriving. My two Clarkii Clowns host in it since my BTA is still to small to host in. My coral is in a medium flow area halfway up my tank and I run T-5 bulbs, 3.9 watts per gallon.

It really needs foods in a smaller micron that it can catch. DT's oyster eggs, smashed up cyclop-eeze, crushed sweetwater zooplankton. You could try also smashing the mysis..Piscine brand is best. One way they reproduce is by budding and dropping babies. Is the green stokesi the type that you have? As Bang said, it is the one that does the poorest in captivity, and unfortunately the most often available.
