Good algae eating fish for a 37 gallon

Since my tank is so small, typical fish for this job like yellow tangs are out. Are there any other fish with some color that will do this job?

You could use a sailfin blenny. Although they really have no color they have a lot of personality. They will dramatically reduce the algae growth. Be aware that they can become aggressive. HTH

I would stop looking for a fish to do the job but a cleaning crew (snails and crabs).

I have a algie blenny (lawnmower) he is cool to watch and eats algie like a maniac for a fish IMO this would be a good choice
