Good/Bad? 36" Coralife Aqualight Pro
Does anyone have a Coralife Aqualight Pro? I might be buying a 36" version that has 1x150w MH and 2x65w Actinic PC’s for my new 55gallon setup. (Tank Dimensions 40L x 15W x 21T)
Is this a good light?

I use the 72" model and it is a great performer.
The only drawback: Mounting it in a canopy.
To replace the blubs, you need side access and this requires removing the light from the canopy.
PIA but only has to be done every 9-12 months.

Someone I know just switched his lighting to the exact same Coralife Pro setup you're describing. Says it's the best thing he ever did since replacing his POS Jebo skimmer. Go for it.

Did you read the Forum on the Odyssea lights. After much consideration and reading what others thought, I ordered the 72" MH/PC Odyssea. For the asking price of a Aqualight 72" I saved over half the money. Can't wait until it comes in. thanks to all in the forum and JonCat.

Good luck with the Odyssea. I posted in that forum regarding my experiences with that light. I hope you get a good one!

I havent read many good things about the Odyssea.
I have the 30" coralife and love it! I'm waiting for my 72" 834 w Coralife now. They are a little expensize but if you shop around and find a sale you can get a good price. I found mine on sale and then got another site to beat that price by 5% and got my 72" for $753.98 shipped :happyfish
