Or asking me if i have been to the bar?If your trying to tell me not to do it, im pretty sure that im able to make that decision on my own.
I was asking if you had been to the bar...
I just thought that the place was foul because there was too much cigar smoke. Just a personal experience that was funny regarding cigars..
Padrón Serie 1926 80 Years Maduro FTW....

I tried a macanudo cafe series today, tasted much better than the arturo fuente.

I sat and relaxed for about an hour today smoking it

told ya my friend.
its a nice gentle smoke.
most cigar pros frown upon it because its so light, but thats what i find enjoyable.

Thanks for the reference
. Will definitely try that one again.
I dont need anything strong yet, so it was very nice!
Got a few more in mind that im gonna try. I got a question though, why am i having trouble keeping it lit for a very long time? im not puffing too often, or too much time in between, and im not doing it too hard etc...IM having to light it around 8-10 times through the whole cigar.

Gotcha, no hard feelings man
. I havent been to the bar, alot of smoke does mess me up though, i am actually allergic to cigarette smoke, i was in a club a few months ago, and ended up having to leave because the smoke was closing my airway and making my face get puffy.

cigars that are rolled too tight flame out.
also, you gotta work that thing. you can chat and all, but dont fart around. start it, finish it.
also, as far as im concerned, once a smoke goes out for more than 5 min, its done.

i was getting the hang of keeping it lit towards the end of it. Dontknow if i was tapping the ash off improperly of what. Im sure ill get the hang of it.
About it being done after being out for 5 mins, is that because if messes with the flavor? because was checking it out after i put it out, and the part that hadnt been burned yet had a totally different smell than before i lit it.

In regards to ashing it is proper to give it one tap with your finger. If the ash doesn't come off, so be it. You shouldnt need to keep relighting it. You may need a bigger draw. I prefer to use a punch instead of a cutter to snip my cigars. It opens them up better.

You should wait as long as possible before you tap the ash for the first time too. Let it get at least 3/4" to 1" before tapping it off. Once I tap the first time I follow the one finger tap as well. Usually end up tapping an ash off every 5 mins or so.
There are a couple of reasons why it might have kept going out. Either you werent drawing on it often enough, it was rolled too tightly (was it easy to draw from?) or it may have been a stored in a humidor that was too humid, making the tobacco too damp.
