Good Deal or not?

I was wondering what you guys think about this deal. It is for a retro 175 metal halide setup. It is $85.00:
READY TO PLUG INTO HOUSEHOLD CURRENT! This system has a brand new ballast built into a USED housing! This item comes with a 1 year warranty from our company! You are bidding on a complete 175 watt 120 volt metal halide remote ballast aquarium light with chrome batwing reflector. This system includes: 1) Refurbished 175 Watt Metal Halide Probe Start Magnetic Ballast built into a USED ballast housing which will be either brown or white. 2) New 175 watt metal halide 14k or 20k bulb. 3)New 18" chrome batwing reflector. 4) Electrical cables - Wall to ballast 3.5 feet (Standard 3 prong plug) Electrical cable - Ballast to Light 10 feet. The Ballast housing will either be white or brown. The 1 year warranty covers everything but the bulb.

First off, thanks for the reply.
Secondly, yes it is from the big site. It doesn't say what brand. The only description is what I posted in the original post.
I figure that if it ends up being a crappy bulb, I can always buy a better one. But I have never had a metal halide set up before, so I don't know if this would be a good deal or not.
Any input is appreciated.

I would have bought mine from their except I found a doctor who was getting out of the saltwater hobby. I bought both of my 175w hamilton pendants with new bulbs for $200. If not for that I would have bought them. Check their feedback, and if it all looks cool, I say go for it.

If it suits your tank and you have the canopy to install it in then as far as price, it seems to be a good deal. Heck most bulbs cost more than that!

They have 250 watt setups for $20 more dollars. Would it be worth it? Or should I just stay with the 2 x 175 watts for my 55 gallon?

Absolutely positively get the 250 set up. There are no disadvantages except heat and if you find you cannot control the heat, a 250 ballast will run a 175 bulb. But just FYI, heat will be an issue either way.

Yep. Get some fans. Here's mine.
There are two fans blowing across the waters surface. And two fans blowing up out of the canopy. One fan blows in over the water, and the other side blows out. My water temp is not affected by the heat. All fans are 120mm and there 12 volts.

OK, thanks for your help. I think I am going to try these. I may just get one first and see how it is. Then I may order the second one.
