do you know what the models are the wet/drys range from $139-289 and the skimmers $89-229 so it depends on wich models

NEVER, I repeat NEVER
Purchase a combo package like that. I have yet to see one where both pieces of equipment are worth mention. Either you may get a decent wet/dry and a poor skimemr, or vice versa, or poor pieces on both counts.
Personally in most cases, I would avoid a wet dry anyhow. and get a good skimmer with some lr and a dsb instead.

do you have a reccomendation on a good skimmer for a 125 that will be a reef tank?

I like Aqua C skimmers and tunzies I hear are great(but costly)
I also think Red Sea makes good in sump skimmers
MY FAVs are custom made(dyi, is a definite option)
HTH
Another thing, whatever you get, go witha good pump too, like a mag drive

IMO Euro-Reef is a really good skimmer if not the best. (I'm ducking for making that comment) I've just purchased a blemished CS12-1 from ---- for $250 less than retail. The guy has several more available on ---- now.
Hope that helps.

tanks jarre, I was trying to think of that name, EURO-REEF, another great one, but is also costly as well, but worth it, IMO
Those are the ones I would look into, If money is not a problem, I would personally go with the EURO or TUNZI(500$ PLUS RANGE)
if money is an issue, then look into the Aqua C or Berlin lines(2 TO 300$ RANGE)
And do not be affraid to over do it, be sure and get one that is suited for your tank and then some, do not go with one that is just enough or looks like it may be enough(you can always turn it down)

Your welcome fella's. Just don't take the last CS12-1. Since I've got two new tanks figure I'll got get another one of the CS12-1. BTW, I've actually received the one I've purchased and man is the footprint on that thing big. 19" x 19" just didn't seem so large in my mind!!! :D
