everyone ok? we lost power for about 12 hrs. had the generator going and short of breaking or spraining my ankle, we bared the storm in flagler county pretty well. most of orlando is still out of power according to the news. g/l everyone

Port Orange lost power last night and still has no power. Glad I bought the generator! Fish are doing fine!

just got back!!!! running from that monster for 2 days. Evacuated to East coast then had to go north becasue he fooled everyone. Finally ran to Atlanta and had our flight changed from Ft. Meyer area to there and finally home. Yikes....what an ordeal. I am glad we left when they said. :sleepy:

Well shoot, lovethesea, if you made it to Atlanta, you should have hopped over to Birmingham.....you could have stayed with me....of course....minus the Husband..........
.......it's amazing the havoc a Hurricane can cause. Tampa got lucky. It's very unfortunate for the people on Sannibel Island, and anybody else that has suffered. But had that thing hit Tampa, the damage would have been 10 fold. I'm still waiting for a F-5 Tornado to hit a major metro area. It will be horrible.
My thoughts go out to anyone who has suffered. Best of luck!

Got my phone lines working at my office today. Has anyone heard from any of the ctr. fl. people. Orlando area was hit real, real bad. Still no power, traffic lights, sewer backups. It's a mess in 90+ temps and rain everyday. I wondered about Waterfaller and some of the other regulars. They could be without power another week. For those that thought it would be fun. Think again!
