Dunno but if he does I would love to see the Raiders snag him. Russell could learn a lot playing behind a QB like him for a season or two.

well, the Vikings need a QB, as that is their only real weakness, and i think they would provide a nicer looking contract.

That is if the Raiders did not waste their fortune on over-valued defensive players, injury liabilities like Javon Walker, and second rate running backs like Justin Fargas...
I don't see it happening at all. Favre danced around the retirement before and he stayed. This time he did it, and he is done. Green Bay knows they need to move on. They cannot hold onto two rookie QB's and Rodgers and not play any of them.
I honestly cannot see too many teams shilling out the money for Favre. The Vikings are one of the few where I could see interest, but Favre hates playing in domes. Plus, I don't think he would uproot himself and his family out of Green Bay unless it was to move somewhere like New Orleans, and they do not need a QB.

He won't be able to help himself. I think the 'Pack' forced him out to a certain extent. Minnesota looks like a nice fit but despite plenty of QBs on their roster, I would not be surprised if Gruden gets him to come to Tampa Bay. Reasonably close to home, no dome, warm climate and a team that has the potential to contend.

are you kidding... if he wants to come back Gruden will be all over him to try and add him to the 6 other QBs on the Bucs roster...

i dont see Favre coming back... the sports media is lacking for stories this time of year so why not beat a dead horse...

The only real value for Farve would be to go to a team that only needs him a year or two. If he is serious about playing again he may have a location in mind where he'd like to relocate and this would help him do it. If he wants to be in the south Atlanta and Miami might be possibilities, dont remember what Tampa's QB situation is.

Jeff Garcia, Brian Greise, Luke McCown, Chris Simms, Josh Johnson still own rights to a retired Jake Plummer and they just recently released Bruce Gradkowski...
so why not add Favre??? it would fit Grudens tendancies to a T...

You should hear some of the stories about him from around here, and these were from before he quite the team so it isn't sour grapes. I am a Raiders fan which means dedicated Bronco hater so I thought it cool he split the team but from a few of the incidents around here he came accross as a jerk.

Favre doesn't mind playing in domes anymore. If you've watched the Pack the last few years you know, if Favre hates playing in anything now it's frigidly cold weather. He's been downright awful in these cold home playoff games the last few years dropping stinkers to Atlanta, Minnesota, Chicago, and most recently the Giants. If he does unretire and doesn't play for the Pack, I predict he gets traded to an AFC South or NFC South team.

Bear fan here and we would take him with open arms. Even if he came out there in his walker threw 5 t.d.'s and went back to the sideline. He's still better than anybody we have!!

Not this year....It's Orton
But i lose respect for these guys that retire and then wanna come back.....if you're not sure to begin with then wait it out.........
He is being very selfish....The GB organization needs to move on and in the best interest of the team and future of the team , Favre cannot be a part of that.

what the crap if the guy wants to play LET HIM PLAY! If he can still cut it which last season clearly proved. If you don't want him there are 29 other teams that might be interested.

come on now, we (meaning the bucs) dont want him. i know we have alot of QB's, but we dont want no wash up. he will all way be a packer. i dont think he could be the same with any other team. may be the falcons..
. espn mentioned a couple of teams that could be intrested.
