Good or Bad?

I just put about 50 poounds or so of additional live rock into my tank. While looking at it, I noticed a few tiny starfish, and am wondering if they are good or bad. Here is a picture. Sorry it is so bad. Even with the macro lens I just couldn't get it to come out right.
It is purplish around the edges, and brownish on the back.

Thanks

I think that they are good, but I am not certain. I had a few in a previous tank and really liked them quite a lot. I wish I had some in my new tank....
Congrats!

Was just talking to a guy at lfs today about starting a new reef tank. He said those were good for the tank. I have 2 in my 10 gal. 1 came in on a frag the other is a split or something I believe. btw this lfs is really really good, very knowlegable. enjoy

Very close, asterina stars
. Beneficial, most of the species do not touch corals or inverts, so you should be ok in leaving him. Ive got quite a bit of stars between those and the mini white brittlestars.

PLZ keep an on them/it. when I first set my tank up their were two of those star fish and they kill two of my corals. that was two/3 months ago or so. Now there is one left but I m keeping an eye on it.
