well heres my nano story so far. a couple of months ago i got a nano cube 24dx, cycle went great i added my cuc and then a pair of false perc clowns. every thing was good up until a few weeks later, i got a pep shrimp and then a week later i bought a royal gramma, the next day i found my shrimp dead, the lfs give a 14 day guarantee for half credit so i got another pep shrimp a couple days later. he was in the tank for a hour or so when i found the gramma beating the snot out of him. so the folowing day the gramma went back in exchange for a bicolor blenny(he's awesome). next a couple of days later one of my clowns jumped into the pump chamber and got sucked into the pump, he survived and is doing great. in the proccess of rescuing him i stirred up alot of crap in the filter compartment and got cloudy water and ammonia for about a week so i had to do water changes every day. so everything cleared up and yesterday i decided for my last addition to my tank i really wanted a cleaner shrimp. i went to the lfs and bought one for $36 (seemed a little steep). well i got him settled in the tank and he was doing great last night and this morning. then this afternoon i found him dead. so back to the lfs i went and for another $18 i got another one. he made it about an hour this evening when i seen my pep shrimp dragging him around the tank to behind the rocks where he decided to tear him apart

. i guess im gonna give up on cleaners for now. while we were at the store we picked up a biocube 8g for a very good price (i know, what was i thinking). after the fiasco with the shrimp i decided to set up the new tank. were going to use it for a coral only tank for frags for the other tank. well i filled it up with ls and lr and water. the pump ran for about 5 minutes and stopped.
luckily there was just a small peice of plastic stuck in there and i have it running now. sorry for my whining but i just needed to vent a little. i gonna keep my head up high. jake
