I did have a sweet kole until a few months ago...not real sure what happened but he deceased and so far I haven't had the urge to replace him....I may eventually...they are great additions...

Great tank!!! I know I just bought a 5 inch kole... im worried because mine isnt eatting any foods I put in... no spirulina flakes, no macro algeas, no sheet algea.. just eatting MICRO off the liverock and glass!!! :(

cholland...I agree...diversity is very kewl. Sometimes the micro infauna can be just as interesting as corals/fish...I try to encourage as much diversity as possible.
YellowTail...he already knows ... but I'll tell him you are impressed....dang hippy has a big head already...lol
...and no the hippo isn't aggressive...just thinks he's the boss.

shawnts106..as long as the kole is eating something I think it'll be fine....keep tryin' to get it to take prepared foods though.

Thanks!!! I have heard that if you try using garlic from Seachem... putting it on the food helps?.. is this true?would you recommend it?

I've never used any SeaChem garlic product...but I have been known to use fresh garlic to help stimulate appitites...plus it can help boost immune systems...might be worth a shot...garlic can sometimes help encourage fish to eat.:thinking:
