Good shrimp

I am in the process of setting upa reef. It's a 35 hex all the water prams are good. I have 2 damsels,10 or so hermits,5 turbos a red brittle and a orange dotted conch. What is a good shrimp to add?

try a cleaner shrimp or two, they're nice to watch and are very useful. coral bandeds are also very attractive, but limit you on adding any more shrimp.

The cleaners have good personality and the fire/blood shrimp look good.

Cleaners! The fish will love them. Pretty cool watching the cleaners climb on the fish and the fish loving it. Sometimes the fish will hover next to the shrimp inviting the shrimp to clean them. ***)

Add two... they do well in pairs and will breed regularly if they're happy... although their eggs/offspring will just become food for the tank.

do you think a cleaner shrimp would clean a mantis? or would it just become food?

A cleaner would be a good snack for a mantis... but an expensive snack.

One at a time my lfs wants $30.00 a piece for cleaners.

Get a new LFS. Even fire shrimp are under 30 at any LFS I go to.

I know it sucks their is only 2 around me and thats what they go for. Unless I want to drive 30 mts. or longer and with gas at 2.30 a gal. it all equals out.
