Good skimmer for 24G

Hey all my bro just purchased a 24g AquaPod & he is looking for a skimmer. He wants a small one that will fit in the back where the filter part is. Which we are unsure the size of that since it don't come in untill Tuesday.
Anyway two small ones that I see are the Visi-Jet Protien Skimmer & the Fission Nano skimmer. Here's the deal I'm not being rude here, but please don't post saying one is bad if you don't know. I hear so much on this forum people saying stuff is bad, but have never had any experience with it or know anyone who has. Again not being rude, but trying to get to a point of what skimmer.
Look foward to hearing some good info. If you have another model please recommend it.

The current USA one sucks, it fits though, but it sucks.

It seems like most of the nano types suck.

AquaC Remora Pro Hang-On Protein Skimmer. My friend has one and it is amazing but it is a little much in the cost department.

I LOVE and highly recommend the AquaC Remora skimmer. I have one for my 24 gal AquaPod...I can't imagine ever having a tank without one. You can find them on the big auction site for pretty cheap. I got a steal, a brand new unit for $118 shipped!

I think the Pro would be a little much for his tank though, they are rated for much larger tanks. The regular one would work well!!
