good skimmer???????

What skimmer would you all recommend for a 40 gallon reef tank? I am trying to piece this thing together a little at a time!!!!! Thanks!! :happyfish

AquaC Remora or Urchin, depending on whether you want a hang-on-back or sump skimmer.

Then you can't go wrong with the Remora. It's a little pricey, but well worth it.

I have the red sea prism deluxe. I like it I use it in the 46 gallon and it seems to get a great amount of scum. I haven't heard many people say much about it on this site but I like it.

coralife super skimmer is a good one

We have the Coralife super skimmer on our 20G tank and the BakpakC2r on our 40G. The Coralife is quieter than the bakpak, but both work really well. The coralife is a reasonable priced skimmer.
