good snorkeling in aruba??

well i got married this past saturday and we are leaving for aruba this coming saturday. i want to do a lot of snorkelingwhile the wife is sitting on the beach, but i dont want to go out on a tour on a boat everday to do it. is there any good places off of any of the beaches to do it? i am staying near palm beach in Noord. i think i am going to go out one day and try SNUBA, but i am not certified for SCUBA, and probably wont get my cert. there either. so any suggestions would be nice.
also, if anyone has any good advice for cool activities and good restaurants that would be appreciated too. i think one thing we are going to do is go on the jeep tour on the east side of the island. but that is only one day and i have 7 days to fill!

Rent a jeep and go to Baby Beach for the day. Wife can sit and sunbath and you can snorkel. It's not very deep and there are hundreds of fish there.

Congrats if your there you may be able to do a excursion but your have to go out on a boat but you can get certified then if you would like for anywhere to 400 to 850 and they give you gear but the best place in the ocean to scuba is in the middle of no where and snuba is fun u can only go down about 20 feet and your connected to a hose so i like scuba better but snuba is fun if you dont want to get certified. Hope u guys have fun.
