I always wanted Van Halen to cover that with Sammy. I think the Organ would translate over to guitar nicely.
Yeh, that would work! I bet you also remember "Wooly Bully" by Sam the Sham & the Pharoahs.

For some reason I like "Don't close your eyes" by KIX. Let me know when I can have my man card back.
After KIX broke up Steve Whiteman formed a new group called Funny Money. They just released a new album called Funny Money. Just seen him in Pasadina Md 2 months ago.

Until this came out, yes. Now that song gives me nightmares.
I gotta say, very impressed by the depth and breadth of this thread. Though CFR was current in the OP, the 'fogey' hijack has displayed some good music.

I don't think I'd be calling PRatR or 10 years after bad bands but great call of the James Gang, Technical dispute on Mott the Hoople, When they started calling themselve the Ian Hunter Group they had several good songs. Ian Hunter live is a great disk.

Darthtang, no need to be scared. The wife and I were in Pasadina visiting some relatives, we went to local niteclub(Bamboo Bernies) for a couple brews and they were playing. But I do still listen to some of the 80's hair bands.
