If you were to get it, i would throw out the bioballs, put in some carbon trays instead, and forget about the miracle mud and just put in rocks and cheato.

bacteria can grow on under water bioballs the same way it grows on LR
dump the mud and go with chato. I say biuld your own so you will have room for your skimmer. also if you do get that sump/fuge you will need to have a blue prefilter before the sump so your bioballs don't collect detris and become a trate factory. don't get me wrong I'm a big fan of bioballs but you must keep em clean
I disagree I think it is IMO awsome keeps ph stable all the time with or without water changes nitrite and nitrate are never there and corals seem to thrieve better with the mud I have 2 55gal one with mud and one without one I skim the other I don't (the one without the mud) so far IMO I had more sucess with the ecosystem miricle mud others may have different opoinions but they most likely haven't did there own test to see how worked and just juded it saying threres no way how does that mud work any better than a sand bed which I don't have any answers either but it just works IMO through my own test run
Hey thanks for you opinion ....opinions are always great to here .... I think that once someone finds something that works for them thats great .... I also dont think there is always a better choice ....sometimes things work better for different ppl and things...
