anyone know of a good and reliable wavemaker out there?
I thought it would be cool to add one to my tank.

Are you looking for something that actually makes waves or a timer to alternate your powerheads?

I have seen both the wave 2k and the tunze model. They make actual waves vs changing currents. Both are reliable but have space requirements inside your tank. price also becomes an issue for some folks(like me). I have also heard debate about the wave action causing stress and possible harm to your aquarium. Just some thing to think about, Sure looks cool though.

I just wanted to add a little more movement to my water that was different from just adding another powerhead. If wavemakers cause stress then I wont bother with one. maybe hooking another powerhead up to a timer to make a surge would work? tank is a 125 i have 2 koralia 3's, a koralia 2, and a mag 18. what do you all think?
