Got a frag tank setup!

I made alot of mistakes first starting up this hobby. All these mistakes have led to a bunch of extra equipment which I am sure or at least hope we all have laying around to remind us of our decisions. So I was off today and decided to start a frag tank! After an hour I realized I had just about everything I needed... kind of basic but hey it should serve the purpose. I fragged a few pieces of toadstool with the help of reefkprz diy threads. Its a 20 gal long with 130 PC Dual Satellite with regular and actinic lighting. I put in some chaeto and a few chromis for excitment. Should be fun! Any ideas or different approaches are welcomed!

Looks great! You've given me an idea for a new project once I get my 125 filled up.
I like the idea of putting a few Chromis in. Even a frag tank needs some movement.

just out of curiosity why do you have your cheto set up the way you do? Does grow like that for you? it don't die off?
My cheto dies off if it don't move and roll around.
Nice set up thou.

Man this stuff grows fast... I have it in there for now just to contain it. If not it grows into everything. I need a good idea for containing it. In my 90gal I sectioned off a side of the tank just to keep it. Mine doesn't roll around but it gets great flow.... henestly don't know how it does well just does.

I found a plastic sponge container with suction cups and place it at the surface and filled it with cheto with one of my loc-lines pointed in it's direction and it over grows the container.
My tangs eats the over growth.

Just using a Marineland HOB filter for up tp 80gal tank. Can't remember actual model. I have only had HOB filters. I opted to not do sumps. When I do the dream setup I will go for a sump....

Nice man. I'll agree too. I love small tanks. I'm jealous of the frag tank. I feel like just turning my 75 into a prorogation tank but that would be a waste.

Looks good Greg, Have I lost a client? Watch out, it is addictive! Since you saw mine, I have about 40% more stuff! Do you have a skimmer? I didn't at first and then put one in. It really has sucked out alot of stuff.

Because it's only for a 20 gallon I bet you could make one out of a coke bottle and a little maxi jet. It'd be a good one to try. I've drawn up plans before. It'd work.

Update.. here are my newest additions to the frag tank. The toadstool is doing awesome. In one week it has attached itself to the rock but I made a mistake of rubberbanding them which eventually sliced them into halves. No big deal but worked better then superglue. I couldn't get them to stay attached to LR.
I have now added some new Xenia, frogspawn and a whole bunch of other stuff I have no idea about but I need to catch up on some reading!
Grumpygils thanks again for the sale.
