Got a problem on my rock (hitchhiker)

So that little tube under the mushroom.... it has something in it that angers my mushroom to the point it shrivels up and starts emitting stringy substances.... well... i dont want that anymore, i've tried to kill it (going to inject tube with boiling water maybe) and to no success. But yeah... wtf is it?

Looks like a vermited snail. Does it shoot out a strung of gunk which floats in the water?

nope, and i dont think its a snail, cuz its permanately in that tube always, and its attached to the rock... but that red shroom never gets full size cuz that thing like touches it and it flips out.

vermited snails are stationary tube dwelling snails. I agree its probably a vermited snail. I had one come up through the middle of one of my red mushrooms, it irritated the mushroom so much it split into two one on each side of the snail.

That is what it looks like to me.
Boil some water and then inject it into the tube.....
