Got a Wrasse :) and a blue star

I got a Blue sided fairy wrasse fpr the 225G

Bad pic, but best I can do right now (specs are on bag)

be weary to keep an eye on him. lots of fairy wrasses have worms

and find him a mate, their colors are so much more vibrant with a mate

yes definately should have gotten 2. one will become male and will become more vibrant. it may even reach a terminal male if you got 3!

Well I did not want to overdue it in the 225G.....
do you think it will be okay alone? OR how long can I wait before I add another (IF)

it will be okay alone, but you'll enjoy them more as a pair. you should be able to add one anytime.
if you search up the male or supermale cyanopleura then youll see how much more vibrant they get

Well the wrasse seems to be mia at the moment...BUT THEN AGAIN.....the yellow coris wrasse goes to bed early too....LOL
The 2 percclowns, the blue YT damsel, and the pseudochromis are the only ones that seemed to give it a hard time....we shall see

unlike the coris wrasse, fairy wrasses sleep in the rocks and should sleep later. fishes go through jet lag as well

LOL....Well I am glad it ate something...whenever I get a new fish, and the others give it a hard time, I toss in a little "treat" the new wrasse ate some also...YAYYY
We shall see what happens at breakfast LOL

ive never had a problem getting wrasses to eat except for leopards. fairies should be called pigs
