Yeah.. A COD clan member of ours was saying you guys are having record temps..
Considering we had a terrible drought for 3 years.. I mean I can see praying for rain (praying for tidal waves.. Sorry reminded me of a Tool song) but damn... how many people prayed for this mess?
Looking at some of the road closures list we have about 6 in 1 county alone that has completly washed away and sank in the water.. so far 6 confirmed deaths..

I just checked the flow guage on the chattahoochee river. Its at 34,200 cfs and rising at 15,420 cfs/hr. This river normally flows about 1500cfs this time of year. I just saw it crested the 285 bridge. That is amazing. The larger rivers are probably not going to crest for a while. The rain has subsided but not the flooding. Still a lot of water up north that has to make its way down. Not out of the woods yet.
To give you an Idea this would be like switching from a 100gph pump to a 3500gph pump in a lot larger scale.

That is crazy. Hope people have good insurance and are okay.

you mean good FLOOD insurance. A friend of ours lives right across from the Chatahoochee and they have flood insurance. Right now they are okay because they are alittle elevated from street level. BUT they have water in their basement because of run off and saturation.
That was the catch with Katrina when the storm surge went inland a few miles. People never dreamed they would need flood insurance, but their insurance companies wormed their way out of covereage.
