Hi Mimzy, it's KTSmom.
A trick I use on anything that has chipped black paint is grab a good ol magic marker. I use the marker to fill in scratches etc but always have a papertowel handy to wipe over it. They work great for little touchups and since it will be under the tank.... Just an idea..

mimzy you and me always get a tank at about the same time. you got your 10 gallon the same time i got mine and now you got this at the same time i got my 30gallon lol. what are you going to stock it with? good luck to you
