Got some crabs out of the ocean got Q's

Hey it got about 5 crabs out of the ocean. Can I add them to my tank and how to i clean them/make sure they will not infect my fish with parasites?

I think it all depends on what type of crabs

Do you have a pic or anything?

I have done this with not so good results. I found a bunch of white leg hermits and put them in my tank, they did not like my blue and red leg hermits. They killed most of them. I had a lot of blue and red leg hermits. I was mad at myself. No parasites were transferred however, so I guess it could have been worse.

Hey Ryan, I noticed you are from McDonough....you ever go to Blue Planet off Jonesboro Rd.? Well they are in the process of moving to Jodeco Rd. exit, anyways I used to work there and still occasionally do maintenance's for them. Good LFS.

I don't have any crabs in the tank now. The one that i got are white legs. Yeah I know Joe well and I buy everything from them.

cool. yeah if you put white legs in there then you may want to stick to white legs from now on....they are more active and more aggressive than blue legs.
