Man! I'm sooo nervous about using Flatworm Exit. Not cause of the product, but an undetermined amount of worms I may or may not have. I've been 2x/day siphoning any worms I can see. I don't think the infestation is to large. Than again, I'm not sure till I treat the tank.

Flatworm Exit is a great product! I had a terrible infestation of flat worms myself. I nuked them several times before I realized what to do. The last time I doubled the suggested strength and then 4 days later I treated it again the same way. The first treatment will not get all of them - there will be some in the sand, some will not have hatched yet, maybe one or two in a very low current area. My tank is now, and has been for flatworm free for over 5 months. Make sure you siphon off all that you can and have some bags of carbon to put in your sump to remove the toxins from the death of the flatworms. One little note: At that strength level, you WILL get rid of several bristle worms too as I encountered this myself.

Holy smokes! Did you seen the size of that one on OregeonReef? I was watching the new Beowulf movie the other nite. When he fights the sea monsters...That's gonna be me hunting that dam worm! I would like to feed him to my predator tank. That would be a show!

Update! Ok, so I did not go through the 55g QT.

I treated the whole 90g with Flatworm Exit @ 3:25pm est. 3:30, a lot of FW deaths, you can see these things webbing together. Between 3:30 and 4:45, blew off rocks with powerhead and used Brine shrimp net with floss on the inside to catch any dead FW. There were a lot! But I caught the problem b4 it got out of hand. Currently all livestock appears to be doing well. Got 2 Mag 350's filled with carbon to clean out any toxins. Going to continue to skim the tank with the net. Will keep you guys posted! More on that later........
