You're gonna love it. I got some as my first coral, and it has split 3x in 6 months. Almost never closes anymore, and my percula clowns host in it. My three clumps are larger than my original frag.
It took a month or two to start taking off, so be patient.
You're gonna love it!:joy:

Mine has probably tripled in size and the piece that I thought was dead when I brought it home started to grow also. So I have two clumps and a small frag that I don't need and I have already giving my friend a small start/frag. You will like it alot.

I've been looking for some for awhile now. I did find a nice piece of silver xenia, but they wouldn't sell it to me because it was part of there large display rock. What kind did you get? I've read that some are easier to care for than others. How do you have it placed and how do you care for it?

The three pieces i have are all in some current just so they move. Under 440w vho lighting(but not ness. from what I've seen) Some up high some on the bottom. I feed them nothing and almost neglect them, I really do nothing.

Not quite sure I've been told lots of things but I believe it's basic pulsing xenia. I know that probably doesn't answer/help you any.

xenia is great once it is astablished in your tank. Mine splits and starts a new stalk once about every week. Its great if your lfs will take it in as a trade but i cant get rid of it quick enough and some just ends up getting flushed.

My Xenia grows out of control, its one of the two things I wished I hadn't added. If your gonna get Xenia get the Red Sea variety unless you like doing a lot of pruning.

I have tried shipping it to one of my freinds in the past and it just dose not ship well. Do you have a reef club in your city. Most members are will to trade or give away to other members.

nice. Did you get them in Mass.? I heard that there is a cool store in Springfield. Got to make it up there some time. Those kind of look like blue xenia to me, but I'm no expert. I'd like to get my hands on some Red Sea (white) xenia, or some silver xenia. Anybody come across any in my vacinity, please let me know.
