Well heck, its hard to see the Aqua POd and from the sounds of it, perhaps the JBJ Nano cube syndrome is contagious to all in one nano type tanks........Sure is a bummer wait this long only to find it cracked......Have you contacted them and if so, what was the results..send out new cube ASAP or?????

they simply asked me was there any visible damage to shipping box. i said no. then they asked was it filled with peanuts. i again said no. then they asked how the equipment inside was packaged i told them chamber 1 had the sponge. chamber 2 had ceramic rings, chambers 3 had bio balls, carbon, and a loose power supply for the moon lights. this power supply was only wrapped with one layer of bubble wrap. chamber 4 had a loose pump with no packing materials around it. so in theory i told the man on the phone, i feel it was packaged poorly, the loose power supply and loose pump were probably rattling around in the chambers and cracked the glass.... he said ok they will take care of it and ship me out a new as soon as they can. but the website states they are out til January... GRRRR
. what am i gonna tell my son that wanted a tank for christmas?
crapola... maybe i should just bought a 2006 JBJ from my pet store... it is also $100 more.

Well I got mine too. I dunno, not completely what I was expecting I guess. Although very small and easily fixable, one of the braces that holds the hood in the "open" position snapped right off when I was opening it. It looked to me that the "pin head" worth of glue just wasn't enough to hold it. Also, the piece where I plug the lunar lights in on the back also snapped...twice! No big deal, it's loose but will work just fine.
Again, for this being such a "quality" piece, I'm not impressed.
In my opinion, the best nano cubes have not yet been made! I'm thinking of tooling up with some injection molds and going into production with my own! Better craftsmanship should be easily obtainable.
