From in the driveway to the first fish added was under 4 weeks. Bought it Feb 25th and fish went in March 20th. But I cheated and worked on it 7 days a week, while on vacation.

actually i wont need to spend a ton.i will be shutting down my 250 reef.it has probably 350 lbs of live rock, sump will be the same one 75 gallon.i have a little giant pump 2300 gph in the shed.i just bought 2 mp 40,s probably get two more .i figure i can sell my 250 with the mh light system tank and stand to almost buy the lights for the new one.really i dont have to buy a stand i plan to weld one with 3" square tubing since it will be inwall.need sand but i have 3 5 gallon buckets of old sand i washed and sealed up .so maybe another 100-150 lbs.i figure at the most $2000-$3000.
now more fish thats another story

well i think we bumped up the house build.my wife called the landowner and maybe in two weeks get the land.i will start on the foundation pretty fast.then need to get the next few jobs done at work and start the framework.gunna do alot of this house myself and use my workers. one is pretty skilled in cabinets and molding to help out.time to call in all the favors my contractor friends owe.
the only thing i need to hire out is the water well.everything else is covered.
i have been looking at acrylic polishing kits hard to believe some of these .they have customer reviews for some of the easier products that say they work great.maybe the stuff out there now will make it alot easier to polish the scratches.my fish supplier is going to call a guy he knows who builds acrylic tanks tomorrow and get more info on this thing.i figure it will take 6 days to r/o the water for it.

Yup - it took 6 days to fill mine - with a new 90gpd spectapure unit. I wish I new more on polishing acrylic tanks - but I've never had one, and am a glass fan. It'd be nice to get your house built! Sounds like this could be a long thread!

well if all goes well maybe not too bad.we talked to the lady with the ladn .owner finance 6% .not bad no banks and we just have to go to the title company so it is legit.she has 10 acres .we are going to do 5 at first and put the other 5 in there to hold.so i only pay $360 a month.that should help me save faster for the house.i plan the foundation in 4 weeks .so the tank needs to be polished in 6 or so.cause i plan the building pretty fast after that.sucks i have to work in between.i have plenty of help for this thing.we are in the county so no inspections.
maybe move the tank there in 8-10 weeks.then have to electric, plumb(going to do all in wall plumbing not in the foundation except drains) then drywall.once drywall is up i will start filling the tank.

I just can't stop grinning looking at the picture Jeff.
I'm much smaller guy then you so I would have taken more varieties of pictures that will assume my feelings for the tank lol.
It's an awesome tank and I'm looking very much forward to looking how this will turn out.
Very nice deal indeed. (jealous... your wife and my wife needs to talk)

Maybe if it was 150.... I don't know if I can accommodate that size tank in my little town house. I don't even think it will fit through the door to be honest with ya lol.
