GPH Flow in Fuge

What's a good gph of flow through a fuge?
I am planning on getting the lifereek 1400gph dual overflow and since it came with 2 lines, would it be ok to run 1 line to the sump and 1 to the fuge? I know it won't always be 1400 gph....but would there be too much flow then? Or just ball valve the incoming flow off into the fuge?
It's a 125 gal tank, not sure of sump/refugium size yet as I have not bought them, I am just planning ahead.

on my 55 i have a 700 gph on my sump wet dry and a 300 gph on my refug to much water flow tends to keep the fuge cloudy from the sand being mixed up all the time

Haven't decided yet. I am either going to get a 20/29 gal aga or a rubbermaid tub....probably around 31 gal or so. Haven't gotten anything for it yet.

7 or 8X is a good rate IMO. To prevent stirring up the sand just have the flow go across the top of the container.
