GPH question

Is my protein skimmer included in my Gallon Per Hour turn over rate, even though it causes no current??
I have the Remora with the skimmer box and although it turns over so many gallons(*), it doesn't actually cause current in the tank because it returns into a small section of the box and seeps out through a sponge in the bottum.
(*)= I can't remember the exact amount. But depending on the answer to this question, I can get it if I need to.

Yes....I also have the Aqua C Remora Pro, with the return box.No, it doesn't count when you are talking about corals that need a high flow rate, unless you took out the box and let the water flow right into the tank. Even then it's still pretty low. Corals need water flow, and they need water flowing through them, and a much higher rate than what the Remora can provide. They need power heads. HTH....:D

I still need more current, I realize that, but I was trying to total up what I already have. So far I have 4 PH's, which I will have to upgrade to bigger ones anyway. I am going to go for at least 15X turn over, but I wasn't sure if the PS would count. So I thank you.
Bigger, more. Bigger, more.. Sheesh, will it ever end.
(Is there nothing I can purchase right the first time around?!?!)
