Gravel

My tank has been up now for 3 weeks. Everything is good. Bought 1 yellow tang and 1 maroon clown. (I have a 35 gal. hex.) When should I do my first gravel cleaning?

You should not be using gravel in any salt system. A YT is going to go insane in a 35 hex. You should realy take him back to the store. Do you have a liquid master test kit? Has your tank cycled yet?

Surely you jest that you have a yellow tang in a 35 hex as well as "gravel"! Hopeuflly yopu mean Crushed Coral at the least and not gravel. If you have gravel best get rid of it and use aragonite sand, and while your at it take the yellow tang back even if yu have to give it to them for free as its destined to die in that size tank.

Ok, NO FLAMING.
Here is what you need to do TODAY.
1st Take all the fish back
2nd Finish cycling the tank
3rd Do not add anything to that small diameter of tank until you research the wanted addition. Ask on here. Someone has been seriously misleading/LYING to you. Barry
