Gray Algea

Has anyone had problems with Gray Algea ? I have never seen this before and a few spots have shown up on my sand.

I removed it when I did a water change last night. If it comes back I'll get a pic. I read that post this is not the same it looks like when you get brown algea only it's grey. The pic in that post looked fuzzy or hairy this is not.
