Gray or black

Seeing how the tank is starting to come around (slowly) and I have all the time in the world to change things out I decided to swap out the gray (cost more) fittings for black fittings last week.
I like the black much more then the gray...But then I like none much more then some

big difference, the black blends in much better.

black looks cool until it gets coraline on it.. .then its gray
you could always take them off and clean the coraline off though

The black looks much nicer....and I heard a rumor that you can remove coraline encrusted PVC and soak it in Coke for just a few seconds...like magic the coraline is destroyed....but more than a few seconds the PVC will also be melted away.......so if you decide to soak anything in Coke use extreme caution!!!!!!!!!
But...seriously....I do like the black much better. I used the white PVC and fittings but mine are behind LR and becoming covered in coraline.....

Did you find black PVC that are slip fittings or just threaded? I have some of the threaded ones, (used for sprinkler risers), but haven't seen any that are slip.

I'm in Alta Loma (aka Rancho Cucamonga) So Cal is by far the best place in the world to be for this hobby, its not to bad for golfing and fishing either.
