We had one of these in a 40,000g tank and it would run into the sides. It is a species I would prefer never to see in the aquarium trade except for tanks over 50,000g.

Not for me. I think there are some fish that are better off in the ocean and that would be one of them.
Who in their right mind would keep a Barracuda One of my LFS has two for sail. One killed ther other within two days. Some things should stay in the ocean.
I would. Hell if he was bigger I'd eat him. If he was in the sea he'd prob kill that other barracuda anyway. I don't really see the problem. The one I have is in a 10 Gallon tank. When he's big enough I'm going to let him go back into the sea too. Nothing in my tank is foreign. Everything, the sand the rock the water the fish the shrimp lobster ...... everything comes form the same place. I'll keep anything.
It's damn cool to see him kill the other fish and eat them too.
