great barracuda

omg i just found a site that sells great barracuda and says a 150 or larger is good for a juvi. maybe u can get one for ur 800 mistergn

an LFS by me has one for sale its $99 and its about 16" in length. Its the first one I have ever seen for sale.

We had one of these in a 40,000g tank and it would run into the sides. It is a species I would prefer never to see in the aquarium trade except for tanks over 50,000g.

I've seen 6 and 7 footers in the wild and they swim so fast it's unreal - not for aquariums.

Not for me. I think there are some fish that are better off in the ocean and that would be one of them.

Very true some fish are better left in the big blue. However, I do wish they could fashion miniature Great whites! That would be cool.

I cought one in a net, he was about 3 inches long. By the time I got home he was dead.

Who in their right mind would keep a Barracuda One of my LFS has two for sail. One killed ther other within two days. Some things should stay in the ocean.

I would. Hell if he was bigger I'd eat him. If he was in the sea he'd prob kill that other barracuda anyway. I don't really see the problem. The one I have is in a 10 Gallon tank. When he's big enough I'm going to let him go back into the sea too. Nothing in my tank is foreign. Everything, the sand the rock the water the fish the shrimp lobster ...... everything comes form the same place. I'll keep anything.
It's damn cool to see him kill the other fish and eat them too.
