Awww....So cute! He gots some big feet! Love me some Great Danes-great dogs, inspite of their size everyone I have met is a nice easygoing dog.
Enjoy, and keep posting those pictures! I got my dog (the left one in my avatar) from a shelter already spayed, housebroken, and moderately trained.
You have a journey ahead of you-enjoy the ride!

Beautiful pup. I have a couple of the giant breeds but the dane is one that I've wanted but haven't had since I was a child. As previously stated, every one I've ever met has been very sweet. Good luck and nice choice.

Please, please, stop with the cuteness! I can't stand it anymore, looking at those pups.
Seriously, keep those pics coming! Heck, why not start a Pup Diary? At least as worthy as one of those lousy tank build diaries!

OMG, I could turn into a big pile of mush around him.

My aunt has one and he is AWESOME. Elvis!! He is the best dog. He has been my sons keeper since he was born. Wherever my son would be Elvis would be right there making sure he was OK. My son could have cookies, crackers or whatever in his hands and that dog would NEVER go after them.
What is going to be his name?? I love his black leg.

wow he's absolutely GORGEOUS!! Just make sure you socialize him really well - lots of people, lots of different places, lots of other dogs (only if u know they've had all their shots, of course), and he'll be a really wonderful companion!!
Danes are indeed very sweet, but some of them can be really skittish. ....and when you're over 120lbs and skittish, u can cause some serious damage. Just start socializing him early and he'll be fine fine fine and a joy to live with.

Aww! His black leg is the best!! I love the colour you picked!
We had one visit the clinic the other day named "Big Black Shaq" (seriously) he came GALLOPING in carrying this GIANT floppy bunny stuffy in his mouth - it was hillarious! What a doll.
+1 on the socializing early too - makes a world of difference!

Ahhhh, he's darned cute! Take a picture of him with you the instand you get him because he is going to grow 3-4 pounds a week! Get him some chew toys because puppies have those needle sharp teeth.
I have a golden retriever (Jack Daniels), a rescue border collie (Dot), and a 4 pound yorkie (Ruby). I also have two cats and lots of fish.

A D O R A B L E !!!!!
Years ago when I still lived in Finland, we had a miniature poodle Cindy. She was the most daring little lady. We had 2 of our cars in a car show and as we were getting the cars ready, I saw a graphite gray GD pup walking around. Cindy wanted to see him so we walked towards them. Cindy was basically running a figure 8 between the GD's legs and making friends with him and the GD just looked at her. No jumping, no barking, nothing. It was fun watching them becoming friends. Their size difference was quite huge
