Dah, now I remember a friend of mine sent some stuff to Canada and it never made it. Mabey some liquid spilled or something?????

is your anemone a purple Base (heteractis magnifica) I think. I must have a horny one then, cause I rarely ever feed him. I find whenever I feed him he will start moving around the tank. About every 7 months he splits. I will try to get pics next time.
