green algae question

My live rock is starting to get some neon green color to it. I am assumimg it is algae. Is it? If it is what do I do to get rid of it or will it go away on its own like the brown algae:notsure:

sorry for not answering your question, but I have tons of that brown algae...I think its called diatoms.....so that will just go away on its own???? it seems to be getting worse and my tank is in the beggining of week 3. Any words of wisdom???? I cant stand the way this ---- makes my tank look!!!!

There are tons of threads about diatoms and red algae in this section. Just take your time and read through them. You will find that they answer most of your questions. I have learned so much by reading different threads that have to do with my specific problems. Hope it helps.
