Green Algae

Here's a picture of some recent Green Algae growth covering my tank bottom / rocks. Tank has 1 damsel for cycle - feeding heavy. This is the first time I've seen Green Algae covering tank. I usually see a diatom bloom on cycling. How long does this stuff usually stay in tank?

Depends on if you clean it or if you get a clean up crew.Go buy some snails

The odd thing about the algae is it's only on half the tank. The half with the tunze is almost algae free. I have a turnover of 30 x's an hour right now and it's not enough. I'm ordering 2 Tunze nano's at almost 1200 gph each to boost turnover to 60 x's per hour. I hope this will be enough flow to get crap suspended in the tank.
