I recently switched my 55 gallon tank to a 75 gallon tank with all new aragonite sand. After about three days the green algae started to build up. I can clean it off the glass and in no time its back! Now its growing on the rock and everywhere! I have a canister filter, a seaclone 100 protein skimmer, and 100 lbs of live rock. ph is 8.2 nitrates are 10 and ammonia is 0 I have one anemone, basslet, blenny, two clownfish, one coral banded shrimp, candycane coral, greenstar polyp, gorgonias, three feather dusters, one green button polyp, five turbo snails, 10 nassarius snails, four emerald crabs, some blue and red hermit crabs, and a sally light foot crab. All of the fish and corals seem to be doing great, but the algea is out of control! what can i do?
