green algea

I just switched from a 55 gallon tank to a 75 and after about 3 days the green algea is taking over everything. I clean the glass and it grows back in no time! I have 100 lbs of live rock, a canister filter, and a seaclone 100 protein skimmer. All of the corals and fish seem to be doing good but the green algea is growing like wildfire. What can I do?

Did you move your sand during the tank swap? Did you test nitrites as well? Looks like a cycle going on.....

I havent tested the nitrites and I put in all new araganite sand.
