green balls

can anyone tell me what the green little balls on my live rock are, are the harmful

maybe bubble alage

got a pic???
is it a smooth shinny ball? if so then it's bubble alage. don't pop it
it will spread through out the tank consider getting a emerald crab they eat the stuff.....

Sounds like bubble algae. Don't pop them or it will spread throughout your tank. Emerald crabs have been known to take care of this problem. If the rock is easily accessible, i would remove the rock from your tank and pick them off.

thanks, you described them to a tee. Looks like there are three of them on a piece of rock I just added. The rock also has some polyps and a mushroom on it. Can I just pull it out and pluck them off. any trricks. will they come back
