Green bubble algae

I have this green buble algae. I was able to remove a couple by pulling them off the rock, but this one is like super glued or something... I've tried to pry it off and can't. It just keeps getting bigger, and bigger.. I'm beginnnig to feel like I have a green crystal ball (not a good one) in my aquarium. I'm afraid it is going to burst. what can I do ? I've got 2 emerald crabs, but now the darn buble is as big as they are... any suggestions ?

When they get large and difficult to pry out of there, I use my syphon hose attatched to a piece of pvc pipe and when I do a water change I just burst the bubble using the pvc pipe end and this way it sucks up the spores. Try it you'll like it.

yes I already have 2 emeralds.. and they ate the rest of the buble algae.. I think I saw about 8 of them. but for some reason wouldn't touch this one.. and now it is as big if not bigger than the emeralds.. I am going to try Thomas's method tomorrow when I do my water change.

I use a turkey baster on the smaller ones..works good or I use appropriate PVC or styrene tube on larger bubbles, and also do the larger ones when I syphon out my water for a change.

Pretty easy huh? I cut my pvc pipe angled on one end so that I can pierce or scrape if I have to, so far it has worked pretty well.
